As a team admin, you have the option of creating payment items for your teams. The payment items can be created or viewed on the web app or the mobile app. To create a payment item on the web, you can click on the Payments and Dues tab on the top of the screen and then click on the team. Now, you can view the payment items for that team.
To create a Payment Item, click on the Add Item button on the top right corner of the payment items screen. You can also select multiple teams if you want to create the item for all those teams. If you already have payment account linked with the team, the next screen to fill in the details for the payment item. Here you can enter the item details such as name of the item, price and the due date for payment. After creating the item, you assign the payment item to the team members who have purchased the items by clicking on the check box next to the member name.
When creating payment items, you can view the fees charged by the Instateam platform and estimated fee charged by Paypal or Stripe. The app also gives you option to include the processing fee when the member pays for the item. If that option is selected, the member will be charged the processing fee in addition to the cost of item when they pay via credit card.
If there is no payment account linked to the team, you will need to link a payment account before creating payment item. Please see Linking Payment Account section to find out more details.
For payment items already created, you can also see how much total amount of payment is received, and how much amount remains to be collected. By clicking on each item, you can view or edit the payment item details, assign payment item to team members or parents and also view the details of all the payments received or payment remaining for each team member. In this screen, you can also add payments received from team members for this item along with the date and amount of payment received.
You can also view all payments received and any payments due for each team member also. To view the payment due for each member, click on the team member name and then click on Payment Due. Any payment item can be deleted from the member account by clicking on delete icon in the top bar.
