When a team admin sends a message, the message is sent via push notification to all team member members who have downloaded Instateam mobile app and have registered with Instateam. All team members who have verified their email account will receive an email as soon as the team message is sent.
However, team admins can purchase SMS bundles if an admin wishes to send the SMS notifications for the team messages. The admin can check the SMS flag when sending team messages. By selecting the SMS option, the SMS will be sent to the team members who have their phone number listed in their profile under that team. Since the phone number can only be added by the team admin, the team admins can control which team members receive the SMS notifications. Therefore, when using SMS feature, the team admins should ensure that the phone number is the mobile number for tw hat member.
